We are pleased to announce the hiring of Aaron Spuler as the new  Head Boys Basketball Coach at Northwest Christian High School!

Coach Spuler brings 20 years of high school coaching experience including 8 seasons of varsity coaching experience to the program:  Langley Secondary School-Boys,  Tacoma Baptist-Boys, and Northwest Christian High School-Girls.  In 2005, he re-organized and led the Tacoma Baptist boys to a state appearance after a long drought.   in 2008, he led the Northwest Christian girls to their first ever state tournament appearance.  He served  as the lead assistant boys coach at Northwest Christian helping garner 6 state trophies, including 2 state titles.  He has also served as a site director and master teacher at Northwest Basketball Camps for 10 years.   Most importantly, he has a passion to train up young people to love God with their whole hearts.  He embodies the Christian mission of Northwest Christian High School of providing a “gospel-centered education every day for every student”  through the avenue of teaching, athletic administration, and coaching.

In addition Danny Beard will serve alongside Coach Spuler as the Varsity Assistant Coach.  Danny is a former Division 1 basketball player, former Director of NBC Camps and long-standing coach in the Spokane community and beyond. He will bring his 40 years of coaching experience back to Northwest Christian once again to help launch the next generation Crusaders into a new era of God-honoring competitive greatness.

We are excited about the opportunity to see the program continue in the tradition of excellence.  To God be the glory!
